Dinaz Dubash replaces Najm Abid in Pak Women team


Karachi, Aug 9, Masood Mazhar, a spokesman of Pakistan Bridge Federation revealed that Ms. Najm Abid from Lahore has withdrew her name in the last minute before the departure of the national women team for 2nd Mind Sports Games at Lille France. Therefore PBF has replaced her with Karachi’s Dinaz Dubash. She has represented the country in the 1st Mind Sports Games held at Beijing in the year 2010.

The women team now comprises three pairs of Ms. Shameem Mahmood-Farida Ahmed, Rubina Agha-Zeenat Azwer and new comer Shehla Aziz pairing with Dinaz Dubash. Open team comprises, Tehsin Gheewala in the pivotal role, pairing with Hasan Askari.  Other two pairs are  Khalid Mohiuddin – Gulzar Bilal, Junaid Said-Farrukh Liaquat.  Senior string is led by veteran Saeed Akhtari, who will pair with Javed Khalid, regarded as the best dummy player in Pakistan. Masud Mazhar-Shauq Hussain, Kamran Ibrahim pairing with Azher Hameed.
