Karachi (13.03.2012): S.I.T.E. Association of Industry, Chairman, Muhammad Irfan Moton, has appreciated the efforts of Mst. Shazia Marri, Provincial Minister for Information & Electric Power in taking immediate action on the request of S.I.T.E. Association of Industry, who have appealed C.M, Sindh for resolving of disconnection drive of KESC to the industrial consumers who were not defaulters but were being harassed by KESC by issuance of Notices and disconnection of supply to the industrial units of SITE and other industrial zones of Karachi.
The Provincial Minister for Information & Electric Power called immediate meeting of KESC officials and elected representatives of Town Associations of Karachi wherein the Provincial Minister gave her views that lack of coordination between KESC and business community leads towards disputes which never benefit anyone rather complication arise, so KESC should always take on board the elected representatives of business community while formulating any policy concerning business community.
Mr. Irfan Moton, expressing satisfactory thanks to Shazia Marri, Minister for Information & Electric Power (Sindh) reiterated that business community always extend cooperation with all utility providers within the rules and regulations and smooth running of business activities.
