Karachi, August 11: Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Lyari (BBSUL) is a feather in the cap of the present Government of Sindh that provided stipend of Rs.2000/- per full academic month to those students of the university, who have minimum 80% attendance in classes, participate in university programmes and excel in academic performance.
BBSUL successfully completed its first (Spring 2012) semester of BS Business Administration, BS English, BS Computer Science and BS Commerce. Out of 135 students, 130 passed and 104 were given stipends for the months of April, May and June 2012.
A ceremony in this regard was held on 11th August 2012, in which stipends were given to present students by the Vice – Chancellor Dr. R.A. shah. The ceremony was attended by the officers of the university.
