KARACHI (PR): All the candidates of Businessmen Group (BMG) have been elected unopposed for Managing Committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry for the year 2012-13. The Businessmen Group’s candidates had filed their nominations and since no other nomination was received, therefore, all the 15 BMGian candidates are unofficially declared successful in the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s election 2012-13.
Siraj Kassam Teli, Chairman of the Businessmen Group (BMG) and former President KCCI, on this occasion, expressed gratitude to Almighty Allah and conveyed thanks and compliments to the business and industrial community of Karachi for reposing confidence and trust once again on Businessmen Group.
Siraj Teli said that “By the grace of Almighty Allah, BMG has been winning all the elections without losing a single seat for the last 15 years and during the said period this is the sixth consecutive term when all our candidates have been elected unopposed in KCCI. He said that 15 years of success in a row is an acknowledgement of the public service by the Businessmen Group which also testifies that the overwhelming majority of Business and Industrial Community endorses the policies of BMG because they understand and believe that BMGians are serving them selflessly for their betterment. He hoped that the new BMG’s elected representatives will make all efforts in espousing the cause of business and industrial community and to further enhance the status of public service which is the motto of BMG.
The successful BMGians list include the names of Mohammed Haroon Agar, Zafar Saeed B.P., Abdul Jabbar Dalal, Alamgir A. Shaikh, Asif Iqbal Bega, Muhammad Arif, Anis Memon, Muffasar Atta Malik, Mohammad Saqib, Shahzad Mobeen, Jahangir Shahid, Farhan Hanif, Abid Nisar, Mansoor Sulaiman and Zahid Iqbal.The election of KCCI’s Office Bearers for 2012-2013 is scheduled to be held on 27th September, 2012 and BMG has already nominated Haroon Agar as President.
