Karachi: The Board of Dawood Global Foundation is delighted to announce Alina Makhani as the LADIESFUND® International Fellowship Winner to China. She is one of two students and the only female from Pakistan selected to study at Guilin University, China, for a semester. Dawood Global Foundation selected her as the LADIESFUND International Fellowship Winner and have arranged her airfare and miscellaneous expenses while in China thanks to the funding of LADIESFUND® Council member Saad Amanullah Khan and his network of donors. Alina is well on her way to China as this press announcement is being released! It is her first time travelling outside of Pakistan and she would not have been able to afford to accept this opportunity, had it not been for this Fellowship.

Alina Makhani is a 3rd year BBA student at the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) and Karachiite who has always been a high achiever and a goal oriented person. She is a hard worker, has a sparkling personality and is people-oriented and ready to help those in need. She has worked voluntarily as a teacher in her community for the past couple of years and possesses strong leadership qualities that have made her stand out and confident enough to face challenges. Her dream is to be a part of a multinational corporation and through this LADIESFUND® International Fellowship, she will be able to get the global to give her a competitive edge in the job market and to help her give back to Pakistan.
