LAHORE, November 25 (NNI): Federal Minister for Planning and Development Chaudhry Ahsan Iqbal has on Friday said that protesting for the demands in a democratic manner was everyone’s right but the protest must not become a hurdle in national progress.

Ahsan Iqbal said that Pakistan could produce only 17,000 mega watts of electricity during the first 66 years but during the last three years only, an addition of 11,000 mega watts was made. Similarly, increasing the water reservoirs in the country were also under focus, he said.
