Karachi (PR): Shaikh Humayun Sayeed, Chairman, FPCCI Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Fairs & Exhibitions showed his serious concern over the present tussle among politician and said that this is enough for damaging image and economic conditions of Pakistan. He said that Pakistan is facing various challenges on economic front which demands all democratic patriotic political parties to sit on table for peaceful solution.
He said that current political uncertainty has damaged investment which is desperately required for ongoing projects. Pakistan needs immediate investment in the energy sector, infrastructure development, and for social sector to support poor segment of the economy.
On the other side, the operation against foreign and local terrorists has entered its second month. The biggest problem is the resettlement and rehabilitation of internally displaced persons (IDPs). It is not easy to accommodate such a large number of IDPs. Considering our security agencies are fighting a very difficult war, we must sustain the national consensus against militants and become united at this crucial time and any kind of instability will only help our enemies.
Shaikh Humayun Sayeed, former Vice President FPCCI urged upon politician particularly Government to organize immediately a roundtable conference of all political parties and find peaceful solution once forever and keep the economic decision isolate from politics, as the private sector of the country which is the backbone cannot survive under these circumstances.
