Greenwich University celebrates silver jubilee


KARACHI: Greenwich University has always striven to give its alumni the best in education since the first student joined the campus in 1987 and the journey continues. Vice Chancellor Ms Seema Mughal said this at the Greenwich University Silver Jubilee celebrations inauguration.

Ms Mughal said Greenwich alumni were to be found in many an exalted position and were contributing to the development of the country. She said during the last 25 years, the University had become a centre of academic excellence and achieved many milestones while providing quality education. She lauded the faculty and staff’s efforts due to which Greenwich University was among the top universities in Pakistan.

The silver jubilee celebrations then began formally as Ms Mughal raised the Pakistan flag while the national anthem was sung. Thereafter, the Greenwich University flag and Silver Jubilee standard were raised and balloons carrying the Greenwich University banner released to start a week packed with events
