Horse Riding Club at Dow University inaugurated


KARACHI, 24th April 2012: Minister of Sport, Govt of Sindh, Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali Shah inaugurated a Horse Riding Club at Dow University of Health Sciences at its Ojha Campus, which also lodges a big Animal House of International Standard for research to be conducted by Mphil and PhD Students. Twelve horses are also part of Animals Sciences Laboratory.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Masood Hameed Khan said that this unique facility of horse riding has been provided to the students and faculty members who can have supervised training by trained staff.

Dr. Syed Muhammad Ali Shah appreciated the efforts of Prof. Dr. Masood Hameed regarding the establishment of “Dow Health and Research City” having all possible health care and research facilities. He also admired the sport facilities of cricket ground and state of art gymnasium & fitness club.

Principal Dow International Medical College, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Masroor and other Senior Faculty Members were also present on this occasion.
