(Oslo Norway By Dr Tanveer Ahmed):  – The foreign immigrants getting wage  very lower according to the source, many migrant workers are considerably lower than in the rest of the workforce, according to a new survey.  The figures come from a survey on labor immigration effect on domestic workers’ wages. Norway has since the early 90s experienced a lack doubling of labor migration, especially after 2005. In 2010 there were around 33,000 migrant workers to Norway. It is understandable that some sectors perceive revolution as dramatic, says senior Bernt Bratsberg at the Frisch Centre.Special hotel and restaurant industry and the construction industry are finding that wage growth compared with the average for other occupations is far worse. According to figures from Norges Bank and Statistics Norway, the majority of industries experienced growth in real wages of 31.1 percent over the last ten years. In the hotel and restaurant industry growth has been 10.9 percent and construction 19.7 percent. These professions are respectively about 40 and 20 percent immigrant share. Bratsberg think the consequence could be increased differences in the Norwegian society. A number of groups that are located below the average income in the community at large. When immigration is concentrated in occupations with relatively low wages, the differences increase, he said.
