Karachi (PR): Javed Jabbar, Information Security Manager at National Bank of Pakistan, has been awarded with an honor of (ISC)2 2012 Asia-Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievements Program under the category of Senior Information Security Professional.
He is among the very few security professional across Pakistan and the only person from Pakistan’s banking industry to receive this distinction.
The (ISC)2® (“ISC-squared”), the not-?for-?profit global leader in educating and certifying information security professionals throughout their careers with more than 86,000 certified members worldwide, announced the 2012 Asia-Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievements Program at a Gala Dinner with Japanese Government Officials on 17th July 2012 at Tokyo, Japan.
Mr. Javed Jabbar received this award in recognition of his work at National Bank of Pakistan in the field of Information Security. During his tenure he has also been rewarded several times by the management of NBP in recognition of his efforts and work. He has a proven track record of success and delivery in Information Security throughout his career and believes to be among few of the most learned person within NBP. He holds an MBA degree in Management Information Systems. In addition to this he holds number of prestigious certifications in the field of Information Technology, System Administration, Information Security, Information Security Governance, Compliance and Audit. His professional designations include CISSP, PMP, ISMES, ISFS, MCP+I, MCSE, Cobit4.1 (F). He carries more than 11 years experience in System Development, System Administration, Networking, Telecommunication and Information Security.
