Mirpur Khas (PR): Sindh Culture and Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah, and Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Sports Arbab Lutufullah designated for the head of Mirpurkhas Division for monitoring the overall monsoon rain and expected flood emergency situation by the Chief Minister Sindh task assigned to all cabinet members and elected representative along with MPAs Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah and Noor Muhammad Bhurgari held a detailed important meeting with all focal persons of the various departments and divisional, district and police administration at Darbar Hall Mirpurkhas here today. The Meeting was also attended by Additional Commissioner-1 Dr. Ali Naaz Bhoot, DIGP Zulfiqar Ali Mahar, and concerned divisional and district officers. On the occasion Syed Sardar Ali Shah while reviewing the task assigned to all focal persons as per clear instructions and guidelines of concerned agencies and respective organizations. The Minister asked all focal persons to play their individual role as per the task given and discharge their professional obligation with full sincerity and dedication, any negligence would not be tolerated at any cost in this difficult and emergency time. He informed us that now the pressure of heavy rains had been reduced/lowered according to the metrological department but we should all have to prepare ourselves for any happenings with full types of equipment and required stuff. The Minister has directed all concerned DCs Police, public health, hesco, LBOD, and another essential department already assigned in the task for the purpose, that they should be prepared in all manner. The DCS Mirpurkhas, Mithi, and Umerkot informed that during the last monsoon and keeping in view of last rains we all had devised a comprehensive plan and strategy appropriately to tackle the forthcoming emergency if any. DC Mirpurkhas desired that the shortage/issue of Specialists doctors may be overcome/resolve in Mirpurkhas to improve the health sector. DC Mithi has also highlighted the issue of loss of lives of humans and livestock due to natural calamity, through PDMA, special measures may be taken and installed Rod to resolve the issue.
