NAB (KP) REGIONAL BOARD MEETING IMPORTANT DECISIONS TAKEN

The Regional Board Meeting (RBM) of National Accountability Bureau Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was chaired by Mr. Farmanullah Khan, Director General NAB (KP) at Peshawar. The meeting was attended by Directors, Deputy Prosecutor General (DPGA), Case Officers, and other concerned Investigation Officers. Several important decisions were taken in the Regional Board Meeting.

The Board authorized an inquiry against owners of Khushal Gardens, Nowshera regarding corruption and corrupt practice. The subjects are alleged to have cheated public on the pretext of fake housing scheme namely Khushal Garden Nowshera.

The Board authorized another inquiry against officers/officials of Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) Peshawar regarding corruption & corrupt practices. The subjects are alleged to have illegally awarded contract of development of surrounding areas of Ring Road from Pajjagi to Warsak Road Peshawar to their blue-eyed contractors. Besides these the board approved reference against Officials of FATA Development Authority (KP) regarding corruption in purchase / distribution of sewing machines in FATA. DG NAB (KP) vowed that as per directions of Honourable Justice Javed Iqbal Chairman NAB, NAB KP is determined to do across the board accountability on the basis of solid evidence as per law.
