Karachi: A Delegation of NBP Pensioners Action Committee Pakistan led by Mr. M. Saleem Butt EVP(r) Patron-In-Chief, Mr. Zafar Sadiq Secy. General, Mr. Tariq Butt Acting Chairman, Mr. M. Abbass, and other office-bearers called on Mr. Arif Usmani at Gymkhana Club Lahore, Mr. Farooq Hasan EVP, and Mr. M. Shahid EVP NBP were also present on the occasion. The delegation apprised Mr. Arif Usmani President NBP about the nonpayment of 70% pension and Government Annual Budgetary Increase since 2010 despite the Supreme Court decision of 2017. The President told the delegation that Finance Minister has directed him as well as Mr. Zubair Sumro Chairman NBP Board of Director to settle the NBP Pensioners Grievances/Issues by out of Court settlement at the earliest in the light of the Supreme Court judgment of 2017. The President NBP disclosed that he will do his level best to resolve the NBP Pensioners issue in the NBP Board meeting to be held on Monday 6 December in Karachi. The President NBP gave a patience hearing to the demands/grievances of the NBP 12000 Pensioners including 3000 widows/family pensioners.
