Mirpur Khas: The Divisional Commissioner Mirpur Khas Syed Ajaz Ali Shah today inaugurated 5-day national polio and Covid 19 campaign at Basic Health Unit Nawab Colony here. On the occasion The DC Mirpurkhas Salamat Ali Memon ADHO Dr. Mushtaq Hussain Shah RD PPIH Imitaiz Ali Kalhoro and WHO and Health Poio workers and officials. The Divisional Commissioner Mirpurkhas Syed Aijaz Ali Shah after inauguration inspected the BHC and other activities there has asked the officials about their field activities, treating physicians from the existing patients. Satisfactory response by the patients.The Divisional Commissioner has said that the target of corona vaccine should be achieved/ completed at least 5 thousand dozes on daily basis by PPIH and Health targets. He was briefed about 5 days national campaign that started from December 13 to December 17. 5 year-olds from birth could be saved from lifelong disability by injecting them with the polio vaccine. On the occasion, the divisional commissioner had directed the RD PPIH Imtiaz Ali Kalhoro and ADHO that they use the mobile van along with the health teams to further improve the performance of the Corona vaccine. Any negligence in the implementation of the vaccine will not be tolerated at all.ADHO Mirpur Khas Dr. Mushtaq Shah complied that the polio campaign in Mirpur Khas is carried out in a good manner. More than 400 patients and mothers are treated at the center on a daily basis About 6,500 OPDs are done in the center. Laboratory tests, nutrition program, Corona Center, Family Planning, Delivery, OPD, and other facilities are provided free of cost.
