Mirpurkhas: Service of humanity is worship and especially bringing back the light of eyes is more rewarding work and its reward can be given only by Allah Almighty, 2-day free eye camp is also a good and noble deed, the services of Abdul Rahim Jano and his wife Rashida Bano Jano are commendable and positive steps, such campus to make public welfare programs should be held continuously.
This was stated by Divisional Commissioner Mirpur Khas Syed Aijaz Ali Shah while inaugurating a 2-day free eye camp organized by Red Crescent Mirpur Khas at Civil Hospital here today. Abdul Rahim Jano, his wife Rashida Bano Jano, Chairman of the Executive Committee Red Crescent & Owner of Muhammad Medical College, Dr. Muhammad Razi, Azhar Abbas, Haji Aslam Ghumman, Abdul Karim Memon, Muhammad Amin Bhatti, and representatives of eminent doctors and paramedical college attended. Deputy Commissioner Salamat Ali Memon, Divisional Director Information Hizbullah Memon, SSP Capt (Retd) Asad Chaudhry, Assistant Commissioner Muhammad Khan Khatti, Shahida Parveen Jhamro, Jameel Ahmed, and others were also present on the occasion.
Speaking at the free eye camp, Divisional Commissioner Mirpur Khas Syed Ejaz Ali Shah has said that it is our duty to serve the ailing and needy people and to take care of them and treat them and prevent not only eye diseases but other diseases as well. It is a privilege to provide identification and facilities for free operations to the citizens, provided by the platform in collaboration with the Red Crescent philanthropists, whose services are commendable and praiseworthy. We will support Health and Public Welfare Programs and events that have been held in the future for which platforms of red crescent have been provided. He further said that such campuses would be organized on a regular basis.
Abdul Rahim Janoo has said that across the country we are running 15 free camps now its 16t Camp will be set up regularly every year with the help of administration. Dr. Razi said that the camp is also testing for other diseases, which is a positive and timely step, therefore it is important to inform the general public about the need for timely treatment and COVID 19 vaccination. The camp is a strong step, camp coordinator Azhar Hussain and Abdul Karim Memon, adding that more than 30 volunteers including 8 doctors& paramedical staff and are participating in the camp. More than 400 free FICO operations will be conducted during the 2-day camp. Testing and diagnosis camp will also be set up to check today's patients by the experts on January 2. The closing ceremony will also be held on December 25 by a large number of philanthropists and citizens including Deputy Commissioner Salamat Ali Memon and other representatives of the Red Crescent, he added.
