PAKPHIL Friendship Association and the Pakistani Business community from Subic Bay hosted a gala on the 82nd National Day. The event was attended by the entire Pakistani community of Subic Bay as well as by Hon. Mayor Rolen “Lenj” C. Paulino, Jr, Mayor of Olongapo City, and the following prominent local dignitaries: Hon. Cynthia Paulino, the President of Subic Bay Freeport Authority, Mr. Benasing Macarambon Jr, and Mr. Marvin Ted Macapagal members of the Board of Directors, Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority; Mr. Benjamin E. Antonio III, President of Subic Bay Freeport Chamber of Commerce.

The event organizer Mr. Chaudhry Iftikhar Hussain, Chairman of PTA Welfare Association Hong Kong and the following Pakistani businessmen: Mr. Ghulam Abbas, President of PAKPHIL Friendship Association, Mr. Shahzad Ahmad Khurshid, President of JA-PHIL International Corporation, Mr. Irshad Ahmad Choudhry, President of Japanese 4x4 Export Corporation, and Mr. Pietro "Peter" Geroue President of Subic Trucks Importer Association gathered the Pakistani community for the /82nd Day celebration of Pakistan National Day.
