Mohammad Wasim Appointed As New Acting MD SSGC
Karachi: SSGC’s Board of Directors have appointed Dy. Managing Director (Operations) Mr. Mohammad Wasim as the Acting Managing Director till such a time a new incumbent is appointed. Mr. Wasim has been assigned the charge of Acting MD, in addition to his own existing portfolio of DMD (Operations). His appointment has resulted after serving Acting Managing Director Mr. Imran Farookhi stepped down from this position due to his personal; reasons. Mr. Farookhi will continue to work as Dy. Managing Director (Corporate Services).
The new Acting MD Mohammad Wasim carries a rich professional experience of over 32 years. A Mechanical Engineer by profession who did his Master of Science (MS) from The Ohio State University, USA is an industry veteran who worked as Project Engineer with Pakistan Refinery, as In-charge of Project Section with Engro Chemicals Pakistan and served Lotte Chemicals Pakistan (formerly ICI Pakistan) for twenty years with his last position as Director Manufacturing.
