One More Gas Thief Arrested, FIR Lodged
Karachi (PR): Security Services and Counter Gas Theft Operations Department of SSGC has pulled out all the stops to fight miscreants involved in gas theft. The team carried out a raid at a Pakwan House in Orangi Town, Karachi, and apprehended the owner of Pakwan House for stealing gas directly from the company’s main line.
The culprit was using gas load approximately 1200cft/hr. An FIR against the culpirt No. 82/19 us 15 /24 GTC & Recovery 2016 was lodged. Apprehended culprit Sirjullah S/O Abdul Rehman will be produced in court soon for further legal actions.
Meanwhile, 20 gas theft cases were brought to light in Larkana, where the team has been working night and day to bring down the instances of gas theft. Whereas, four raids were carried out in Frontier Colony, SITE Town and disconnected the illegal connections.
