Jakarta (Indonesia): Mr. Sajjad Haider Khan, Charge d’Affairs of Pakistan Embassy held a meeting with Mr. Andi Budimansyah, chairman of Indonesia Information Technology Federation (FTII). Mr. Andi was accompanied by the office bearers of FTII, while Minister (Trade & Investment) Ms. Fouzia P. Chaudhry, and Second Secretary Jamal Nasir of the Embassy attended the meeting.
Highlighting the immense potential of Pakistan’s ICT Industry, Mr. Khan informed the Chairman that Pakistan produces more than 20,000 IT professionals every year. He added that Pakistan’s ICT exports have crossed 1.5 Billion Dollars and the trend is continuously increasing.
The Chairman FTII appreciated the briefing and expressed interest in collaboration between Pakistan and Indonesia in the field of ICT. Both sides agreed to hold a B2B Webinar next month. Various such interactions between the ICT companies from Pakistan and Indonesia are being planned in the near future.
