FPCCI Supports APTMA For Relief In Power And Gas Tariff

President FPCCI Ghazanfar Bilour has supported the demand of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) to provide uninterrupted power and gas supply at cheaper rates to compete international market. Closure of over 100 Textile Mills if are made operational can generate billions of rupees through exporting the finished products.

He further added that Textile have 65 to 70 percent share in exports that can be further increased if government provides power and gas at cheaper rates as compared to other countries. President FPCCI asked the government to fulfill their promise of export package of Rs. 180 billion as demand by APTMA. He further assured the government that FPCCI shall keep enduring its energies to boost up the exports to earn more foreign exchange if our genuine demands are met by the government. APTAMA has great potential to attract foreign markets in Textile as our finished products out match most of the countries in this sector, be concluded.
