KARACHI: Commissioner Karachi Naveed Ahmed Sheikh chaired a meeting at his office on Friday to review the arrangements for the main procession of Hazrat Ali's Martyrdom Day. It was decided that Imambargahs, mosques and other places on the occasion of Hazrat Ali's Day Special security arrangements will be made on the occasion of holding rallies and processions. Special cleaning arrangements will be made. Necessary civic amenities and an uninterrupted power supply will be ensured. No-load shedding will be done on the procession routes. Steps will be taken to install street lights and keep them lit. It will be ensured that sewage water does not accumulate on the roads in the procession routes. The Corona SOPs will be fully implemented to curb the spread of Corona

It was decided in the meeting that a grievance center would be set up at Commissioner Karachi's Emergence Sexual Response Center Rescue 1299 where any emergency-related complaint could be lodged.
