S. M. Muneer hails the decision of the Prime Minister for restoration of peace in Karachi


Karachi (PR): A new wave of rejuvenation has prevailed in Karachi following the address of the Hon’able Prime Minster of Pakistan Mian Nawaz Sharif to the Business fraternity at Karachi on 3rd September 2013. This was stated by Mr. S M Muneer President India Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

He said that the brazen steps announced by Prime Minster Mian Nawaz Sharif in the cabinet meeting at Karachi would go a long way in revitalizing peace and tranquility in Karachi which was for a long time at the mercy of the criminals involved in target killings, kidnappings for ransom, extortion and terrorism making the life of the people of Karachi particularly the business community miserable.

The people of all walks of life particularly business community of Karachi which had fallen prey of frustration at the hands of the criminals has welcome and support the announcement of the Prime Minister to initiate targeted operation against the anti-national elements and criminal involved in distortion of peace of Karachi – hub of economic activities, he added.

Muneer was optimistic that the implementation of the decisions of the Prime Minster will restore the confidence of the businessmen and industrialists and soon lead to flourishing of business and investment opportunities which were diminished due to tatty law and order situation in Karachi.

While expressing satisfaction and declaring the address of Prime Minster a beacon of hope and relief to the people of Karachi he admired the acumen of Prime Minster assembling all political parties at one platform consenting to ensure peace and bringing the life back in Karachi so that the economic activities could get momentum to help eradicate unemployment which is the major challenge.

He further suggested that all law enforcement agencies and forces should be made non-politicized so that they may perform their duties professionally and unbiased without any political pressure thrusting out the anti-national elements from our society for good.
