Karachi, August 03: The High Court of Sindh, Karachi has ordered that Mir Safdar Hussain Talpur District and Sessions Judge, (BS-21) to join his new assignment as Presiding Officer, Sindh Labour Court No. VI, Hyderabad, Ms. Shamim Akhtar Saduzai, District & Sessions Judge, Thatta (BS-21) to join her new assignment as Presiding Officer, Sindh Labour Court No.II, Karachi and Ms. Soofia Latif, District & Sessions Judge, Karachi (Central) (BS-21) to join her new assignment as Judge, Special Court, (Custom, Taxation and Anti Smuggling), Karachi with immediate effect.

Karachi, August 03: The Chairman, Public Accounts Committee has summoned to present the PAC Audit Report of Government of Sindh in the forthcoming Session of Sindh Assembly. In this connection the Chairman PAC has fixed the meetings of the Public Accounts Committee to consider the Draft Paras/ Printed Paras for the financial year 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2007-08 (Auditor General’s Report 2006-07, 2007-08 and 2008-09) and Appropriation Accounts for the years 2005-06, 2006-07 and 2007-08 in Committee Room No. 1, Sindh Assembly Building, Karachi as per schedule below:

SPEAKER AND DEPUTY SPEAKER ASSUMED THE CHARGES OF SPEAKER & DEPUTY SPEAKER OFFICES

Karachi, August 03: The Secretariat of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh has notified that upon return Mr. Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Speaker, Provincial Assembly of Sindh from visit of U.K. and other European Countries has assumed the charge of the office of the Speaker, Provincial Assembly of Sindh with effect from after noon of 1st August 2012. While consequent upon return of Mr. Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Speaker, Provincial Assembly of Sindh from visit of U.K. and other European countries, Madam Syeda Shehla Raza, Acting Speaker, Provincial Assembly of Sindh has assumed the charge of the office of the Deputy Speaker, Provincial Assembly of Sindh, with effect from after-noon of 1st August 2012.

SPECIAL STICKERS FOR VEHILCES PARTICIPATING IN YOUM-E-ALI PROCESSION TO BE ISSUED

Karachi, August 03: The Deputy Inspector General of Police Traffic, Karachi has announced for the information of owners of the vehicles who will participate Youm-e-Ali Procession – 1433 AH that it will be mandatory to get stickers to be displayed in wind screens of the vehicles. The procession will be taken out from Nishter Park to Hussainian Iranian Imam Bargah Kharadar on 21st Ramadan-e-Mubarak 1433 AH ie. 10th August 2012 . The stickers will be issued from 7th to 9th August 2012 from office of the DIGP/ Traffic Karachi (Traffic Security Branch) Police Headquarters Garden, Aga Khan-III Road, Karachi to Government offices, Media and Ambulances.

Furthermore Scouts, Social Welfare Organizations, Sabils, Nazar & Niaz distributing vehicle should submit their application forms alongwith Registration Book of the Vehicle, National Identity Card of the vehicle owner, Driving Licence, CNIC and 3 attested Photographs of the Driver and Letter of the owner/ Organizer at Scouts Rabta Council office at Numaish (Contact No. 0213-5499955) from 4th to 7th August 2012 and get their stickers from office of the DIGP/ Traffic Karachi (Traffic Security Branch) Police Headquarters, Garden, Aga Khan-III Road Karachi from 7th to 9th August 2012. It should be noted that no sticker will be issued to any vehicle except Ambulance, Scouts, Social Welfare Organizations, Sabils, Nazar & Niaz distributing vehicles or to any other emergency vehicles.

HEADQUARTER CONSERVATOR WILDLIFE TEMPORARILY FIXED AT MITHI

Karachi, August 03: In view of increasing casualty of Peacocks due to NDV, the Headquarter of Conservator Wildlife Sindh has been temporarily fixed at Mithi to monitor the day-to-day progress of field teams and to provide on spot assistance to them for combating the viral disease, said an order issued by Wildlife Department Government of Sindh.

The order stated that Divisional Forest Officer, Social Forestry Division, Mithi and Divisional Forest Officer, RM Division Mirpurkhas have been directed to extend their full cooperation to Wild Life Department by deputing their field staff at the disposal of Wild Life Department. While local people have been advised to contact Conservator Wild Life at Mobil No. 0300-3029301 for treatment of peacocks.

RIVER INDUS IS FLOWING NORMAL – IRRIGATION DEPARTMENT

Karachi, August 03: Director Regulation Irrigation Department Government of Sindh has informed that River Indus is flowing normal at Gudu, Sukkur and Kotri Barrages and will remain in normal flood at these stations during next 24 hours. He further informed that River discharges at Gudu, Sukkur and Kotri Barrages as recorded at 06:00
