SPECIAL JUDGE, ANTI-CORRUPTION HYDERABAD APPOINTED

Karachi, July 09:  Government of Sindh has appointed Mr. Khalid Mehmood Bhatti, newly promoted District & Sessions Judge (BS-21) as Special Judge, Anti-Corruption (Provincial) Hyderabad against the vacant post on retirement of Syed Faiz Rasool Rashidi.

PROVINCIAL OMBUDSMAN FOR PROTECTION AGAINST HARASSMENT OF WOMEN APPOIINTED

Karachi, July 09:  Government of Sindh has notified that the appointment of Syed Pir Ali Shah (Retired) District & Sessions Judge (BS-21), as Provincial Ombudsman for Sindh at Karachi for protection against harassment of women at their work place for a period of four (04) years, with immediate effect.

SINDH CABINET MEETINGS TO BE HELD IN EACH DISTRICT – JAM MEHTAB DAHAR

Karachi, July 09:  Provincial Minister for Revenue Jam Mehtab Dahar has said that following the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and on the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari, the meeting of Sindh Cabinet will be held in each district of Sindh and Sindh Cabinet meeting at Jacobabad was its first meeting of the sequence. This he said while talking to media-men here in his office on Monday.

            He said that the purpose of these meetings was to solve the  problems of the people at their door step. The Development Package for Jacobabad was a proof of Government’s commitment that it wanted the same development of work for the province.

            Jam Mehtab added, ‘Present Democratic Government is working for the welfare of the masses. Many Mega Projects have been initiated to make the country strong. Every sector is being given proper attention by the Government to enhance national production’. He said that it was the duty of the media to point out the issues, it had right to criticize the government but it should be healthy and positive. He said on the directives of President Asif Ali Zardari the record of the revenue department was being computerized and it would help reduce the problems of the people.
