SHENZHEN, China: The 18th Shenzhen International Machinery Manufacturing Industry Exhibition (SIMM) will run from March 29 – April 1, 2017 at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. The largest manufacturing show in South China, its 110,000 square meters of exhibition area will be filled with exhibitors who exemplify the intelligentization level of China’s Industry 4.0 machinery manufacturing industry and the regional manufacturing capacity of the Pearl River Delta area (PRD) of China.
A New Engine for the Smart Manufacturing Industry in China
The PRD possesses enormous production capacity and a huge market. Also referred to as “The World’s Factory”, the area has made significant achievements in smart manufacturing with the support of beneficial policies of the local government and the advantages of its close proximity to the South China market. Thanks to the dynamic market and beneficial policies, SIMM has quickly grown to be the most influential manufacturing show in South China.
At SIMM 2017, more than 1,000 enterprises from over 20 countries, such as +GF+, HEXAGON, MAZAK, FANUC, TRUMPF, and Han’s Laser, will display their latest manufacturing solutions. PRD has not only become the largest potential market for manufacturing equipment; it has also developed strong production capacity for industry consumables such as cutting tools, precision parts and accessories. The most powerful manufacturers in PRD gather at SIMM to show their capabilities to the world.
SIMM 2017 will focus on displaying all aspects of smart manufacturing in China. The exhibition flexibly combines digital metal cutting and forming equipment, high-quality materials, industry robotics, measuring techniques, cloud production management and control systems to build a smart manufacturing system covering all industry chains. Furthermore, the display of a factory’s 3C production line for smart manufacturing pilot projects will be a window for the world to see the smart manufacturing capacity of China.
SIMM 2017 has 9 themed pavilions. The exhibits cover CNC, robotics, industry measuring equipment, automation, cutting tools, die and mould, metal materials, precision parts, and 3D printing. SIMM 2017 will also host project matching conference sessions relating to quality control, robotics, and flexible sheet metal production lines. These professional and high-class platforms will help attendees find solutions and learn more about this ever-changing industry.
