Ambassador’s Meeting with Minister of Education of Belarus

Belarus:  Ambassador of Pakistan to Belarus Mr Sajjad Haider Khan held a meeting with H.E. Mr Igor Karpenko, Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus. The meeting was also attended by Ms Irina Shitkovskaya, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry.

Appreciating the existing MOUs between the two countries covering educational collaboration, the two sides discussed a whole range of topics including cooperation amongst the universities in both the countries for joint research and participation in educational programmes. Strengthening cooperation in vocational training also came under discussions.
The honourable Minister showed the readiness of the Belarusian side to accept the issuance of double degree programmes/diplomas. He also shared the possibility of the provision of scholarships to Pakistani students as part of the Ministry’s annual programme. 

The two sides also broached the prospects of running short term (4-6 weeks duration) languages course at the National University of Modern Languages, Islamabad & at the Belarusian State University and Minsk State Linguistic University.(Please send your news, article, pictorial to our email address <editor@enewspaper.com.pk & WhatsApp +923132434567
